Title:
Construction Inspector
Essential Functions:
Oversight and observation of contractor workmanship Preparation of daily field reports and photo documentation Inspect various utility, construction, and renovation project sites Read and interpret construction plans and project specifications Examine trenches for environmental risk factors Observe materials and installations methods in accordance with the approved specifications Create and communicate red line mark ups to present to project engineers as needed Complete material testing for clients upon request Draft reports in Quest, DashPivot, and various industry-specific software applications
Qualifications:
Highschool Diploma or equivalent is required 1 year of inspection experience is preferred Have the ability to learn skills that garner certifications such as ODOT Project Inspector, Soil Compaction, Asphalt Testing, Coils & Aggregate Inspection, Flexible Pavement, Traffic Zone ACI Concrete Field Inspector Certification is desired Posses OSHA10 Certification or have the ability to obtain Valid Driver's License Life at Thrasher:
